Description
Handmade in Dorset, these Beebombs are packed with seeds from 18 British wildflower species, mixed with protective clay and sifted, nurturing topsoil. Each Beebomb provides coverage for roughly 21 sq ft / 2m² of lovely bee friendly flowers.
Sadly, 97% of natural bee and butterfly habitat has been lost in the UK since the second World War. This number is frightening and critical as bees and butterflies are essential pollinators and without them, thousands of flowers, plants and alongside them, fruits would not be able to exist.
Almost all the seeds in this bag are on the Royal Horticultural Society’s ‘Perfect for Pollinators’ list and will provide an aesthetically beautiful garden, whilst helping grow out native bee population and restore the natural biodiversity of Great Britain.
These low maintenance seeds are perfect for all ages and do not need special gardening skills. They can be scattered onto open ground at any time of the year, although spring and autumn are the optimal times for planting to help germination.
Once scattered, you don’t need to water or tend your Beebombs. Just let the glorious British sun and rain work their magic!
Each Beebomb comes in a reusable natural jute bag and is tied with natural twine, making them the perfect eco gift.
